A truck has been reportedly set ablazed by angry youths in Saki, Oyo state for knocking down a boy in the area.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the truck which was conveying some cows, was burnt with the cows in it.
According to report, the driver truck knocked down a boy named Ayuba Raji on Monday evening, January 11 at Challenge junction in Saki.
The victim was riding a Boxer motorcycle and was hit by a truck transporting cows out of Saki.
Speaking on the incident, Spokesman of Saki Town Development, Mr Adekunle Lawal confirmed the incident.
Lawal urged the contractors handling the Saki dual lane to do something about the road to avoid a repeat of yesterday’s tragedy.
