Prophet Onyeze Jesus Who Was Caught Spraying Money On Naked Men And Women In Anambra River Arrested

The Founder of Children of Light Anointing Ministries, Nkpor, Idemili , Mr Onyebuchi Okocha, popularly known as Onyeze Jesus’, Nkpor, the Anambra prophet who went viral after he was captured in a video spraying money on naked men and women in a river, has been reportedly arrested by the state Police Command.

The 32 year old pastor is reportedly from Amafor village in Nkpor and was once a bus conductor before he became a prophet.

According to Anambra Broadcasting Service, the pastor was arrested on Wednesday, 27 January 2021 after he apologized to Nigerians for his alleged ritual practices.

On Monday, 25th January 2021, Anambra state government through a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C. Don Adinuba, warned Onyeze Jesus against his practices which the government termed ‘criminal and indecent conduct in the name of religion’.

Anambra state Ministry of Health had on Wednesday, 27th January, 2021 in relation to the statement, also warned public and private hospitals and mortuaries operating in the state against allowing ‘Onyeze Jesus’ access to their facilities to carry out his practices after he claimed he could raise 7 corpses from the dead on the 28th of January, 2021.

Many social media users expressed shock after video of Onyeze Jesus parading people naked in a river and abusing the Nigerian Naira currency went viral online.
