Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has advised single Nigerian ladies not to stress themselves about marriage, stating that it is not a privilege or luck.
Taking to his Instagram page, Maduagwu noted that approaching 30 without getting married doesn’t mean there is a problem, he added that marriage does not define anybody.
He wrote:
“Marriage does not define you, approaching 30 or above and not married does not mean you have a problem… Dear ladies, #marriage is not a privilege or luck, but a choice. Stop making people treat you as if there is something spiritually wrong with you simply because your #friends or sisters are all #married and you are yet to, this is 2020, ignore or stay far away from people with that mentality.
If you choose to hang around or listen to such people, they will not only spoil your #happy mood, but also lure you into putting unnecessary pressure on the person you are currently in a beautiful #relationship with. #Wedding takes place in a day, but marriage is meant to be for a #life time, so if its taking you much time to selecting the most suitable man to journey with you on a marriage path of a life time, is the waiting not worth it?”
