Customers feared trapped as portion of Spar Mall crashes in Calabar, crushes vehicles

A video of some buildings believed to be part of Spar Mall situated in Cross Rivers crashing has surfaced on internet.

This tragic incident has caused tension and panic as many customers of Spar fear trapped as portion of the mall crashes while other customers who luckily escaped alongside other people were seen moving around the vicinity in the video.

Inside the video, the background voice of a lady repeatedly saying that she can not die now can be heard as she moves her camera around to show the extent of the damage.

SPAR is one of the supermarkets and department store brand we have in Nigeria. The mall is basically into home decoration, Groceries, fresh food, electronics and many more. SPAR stores in Nigeria are built on hypermarket retail format and offers a wide range of products.

As at the time of reporting, the cause and time of the incident are yet unknown.
