The killing of a 28-year-old man identified as Austin Nwaeke by suspected Fulani herdsmen has been confirmed by the Delta State Police Command.
According to report, the 28-year-old man identified as Nwaeke was murdered over the killing of a cow in Albert Camp, a farming settlement reportedly populated mainly by migrant farmers and artisans.
Albert camp is located in the hilly suburbs of Oshimili South council of Delta state.
While narrating how the tragic incident occured, the deceased’s widow said;
“I ran out of the house and saw my husband dead in front of the door.”
According to NATION, the Police Public Relations in the state, Onome Onowakpoyeya confirmed the incident and also disclosed that a manhunt has been launched for the killers.
