Veteran Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has reacted to the sad incident of hoodlums looting and carting away with people’s businesses.
Within Nigeria recalls that violence broke in Lagos few hours after the multiple killing of peaceful #EndSars protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate on the 20th of October, 2020. The violence which resulted into looting and destruction of properties obviously did not go down well with everyone, especially business owners who were affected.
Many decided to take to social media to express their disappointment and sadness.
According to the talented actress, what the looters did is very pathetic. She however advised that engaging in robbery and breaking the law is not the way forward in the country.
Sharing a viral video of when looters stormed a mall on Instagram, Laide Bakare wrote;
“This is pathetic .. if you think breaking law and order for robbery is the way forward, then you dreaming the impossible.”
