Young couple die in Benue motor accident

Tragedy has struck a young family from Benue state as one Haruna Godwin Odoje and his wife, Bawa Jennifer Bawa, died in a fatal motor accident.

It was gathered that the couple died in the auto crash which occurred at Agatu road on December 31, New Year’s Eve.

Their 6-year old son who survived had both of his thighs fractured and is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

The couple will be laid to rest on Thursday, January 13, in Egba, Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.

A Facebook user, Indira Aernyi, who shared the sad incident on her wall, posted an a statement announcing the death of the young couple.

DR. PAUL ORHII MOURNS LATE MRS. BAWA JENNIFER AND HER HUSBAND
A Frontline Gubernatorial Aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party in Benue State, Dr. Paul Orhii, OON received with shock and deep sadness the news of the death of a member of the Paul Orhii Volunteers (POV) Group, Late Mrs. Bawa Jennifer.

Late Mrs. Bawa died in a ghastly auto accident which claimed her life and that of her husband, Mr. Haruna Godwin Odoje. Their six year old son who survived had both of his thighs fractured and is currently receiving treatment.

Before losing her life to this tragic incident, Mrs. Jennifer Bawa was a committed member of the Paul Orhii Volunteers Group (POV), a group of volunteers who are working assiduously and selflessly towards the actualization of the Gubernatorial ambition of the former NAFDAC DG.

Dr. Orhii, on behalf of himself, his family and political associates, sends his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and prays God to grant them the fortitude to bear their painful losses.

He also sends his deepest condolences to members of the Paul Orhii Volunteers Group and prays God to grant Mrs. Jennifer Bawa and her husband a peaceful rest, and their injured son, speedy and complete healing.
