A video making the rounds on social media capturing the moment a Cleric burnt the Holy Bible, in Edo state, has garnered massive reactions online.
In the clip, a group of people dressed as priests could be seen preparing a fire as they condemned the Christian’s son of God, Jesus Christ, blaming him for numerous atrocities.
The ‘Head Priest’ said Jesus had been responsible for deaths in their community and that the ‘son of God’ was not the original deity in Africa.
He went on to set the ‘Bible’ ablaze and boasted that the holy book had gone up in flames despite assertions that such could never happen, mocking the power of Christians.
He proceeded to burn banners with pictures of Jesus Christ as represented in mainstream media and general studies.
It is unclear what denomination the men belong to as the crosses emblazoned on their clothes seemed to indicate that they were Christians themselves.
