The Chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, has empowered female drivers with free vehicles in the state.
The videos making the rounds captured the ex-chairman of NURTW and the Beneficiaries standing next to the brand-new buses amidst cheers from the crowd.
Their vehicles were presented to the them by MC Oluomo himself on 4th of May 2023 at the LASPG headquarters in Oko Oba Agege, who expressed his joy in the act of charity and philanthropy act.

MC Oluomo’s initiative of empowering drivers around Lagos parks started a few months ago, leaving motorists in awe and the entire public transport workers of Lagos State gratified.
The commercial bus is an essential tool for female drivers who have demonstrated their hard work and ability to earn a living for themselves and their families. The bus will enable them to expand their businesses and increase their income, thereby improving their standard of living. It will also provide them with a sense of ownership and pride in their work, which will motivate them to work harder and achieve even greater success.
Furthermore, the act of gifting the bus to the female drivers shows the importance, recognition, and contributions of women in the workforce. It is a clear indication that the chairman values the hard work and dedication of his female drivers and is committed to supporting them in their endeavors to succeed.
The beneficiaries who were selected at random by the State chairman while plying their routes of operations were deeply grateful for the given opportunity to be independent with the empowerment of vehicles for their operations.
