Expressing regret over a significant error, he revealed that he mistakenly transferred 500k into Davido's bank account. Tagging the singer, he shared transaction screenshots as evidence, earnestly requesting the funds to be returned.

  • A Nigerian gentleman created a stir on the Internet with a post gaining traction, claiming he sent N500k to Davido.
  • In his account, he intended to transfer money to a friend but inadvertently directed it to an account sharing a strikingly similar name
  • He earnestly appealed to fellow Nigerians, urging them to join him in requesting the Afrobeats maestro to kindly reimburse his diligently earned funds.

In a widely circulated social media post by a Nigerian named Adeleke583, he asserted that he unintentionally transferred ₦500,000 to the renowned Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido.

The social media user claimed that he intended to send the money to a friend who coincidentally shares the same name as the music star.

He disclosed that the funds were mistakenly sent to a Wema Bank account with the same name as the artist, pleaded with the general public to lend a helping hand in recovering his funds.

Tagging the singer and sharing a screenshot of his Zenith Bank account transaction to Davido, he wrote;

“I mistakenly sent #500,000 naira to your Wema Bank account with this account number: 0123044967. This was supposed to be sent to a friend of mine who also goes by the name David Adeleke.”

Davido recently made waves on social media lately due to a slew of allegations from various Celebrities claiming he owes them money.

The singer found himself in hot water when Abu Salami pointed fingers at him for a staggering N 218 million debt. Blessing CEO didn’t hold back, giving OBO a piece of her mind for allegedly owing her rumored sweetheart N4.5 million.

Samklef threw his hat in the ring, called out the singer to settle a N1 million debt he owed to his buddy, Dammy Krane rekindled the fire, bringing up an unpaid debt with the singer once more.
