There’s an outrage currently trailing viral video showing a female student from the school being harassed by her classmates right under the school’s nose.

Lead British International School, Abuja’s management has issued a firm condemnation regarding the reprehensible incident of bullying that occurred within the school’s premises.

Earlier, WITHIN NIGERIA reported a surge of uproar on various social media platforms in response to the bullying incident involving a female student at the school.

In light of these event, numerous netizens have flocked to social media platforms to express their condemnation of the incident and demand that the school take action against the perpetrators.

However, in a statement released on Tuesday, the Head of Abuja School, Abraham Ogunkambi, assured the public that the school’s management is treating the matter with the utmost seriousness.

Ogunkambi emphasized that the school has already contacted the victim and her parents, offered comprehensive support and counseling services to assist them in dealing with the emotional and psychological aftermath of the incident.

The school head affirmed that counseling services will be extended to the perpetrators, alongside disciplinary actions aimed at addressing their misconduct.

Ogunkambi further disclosed that a dedicated panel has been established to thoroughly investigate the incident and any other allegations of bullying within the school’s premises.

On Monday night, an individual identified as @mooyeeeeeee took to social media with an urgent SOS post, accompanied by two distressing videos aiming to rally support for the female student and advocate against bullying in society.

In the first video, the victim endures repeated slaps from another female student while being interrogated with the question, “Who broke my heart?”

In the second video, the victim is depicted sitting beside a male classmate who confesses, “I spoilt her relationship,” further underscoring the severity of the situation.
