Nigerian social media star Emdee Tiamiyu has reportedly been deported from the UK and sent back to Nigeria.
The reports of Emdee Tiamiyu’s deportation surfaced a few months subsequent to claims of his arrest on allegations of fraudulent activities.
Recall that Emdee rose to fame last year after appearing on the BBC to discuss the plight of Nigerian immigrants involved in a financial scandal with UK authorities.
He suggested that many Nigerians were exploiting the student visa program to secure employment and bring their families to the country, a statement that sparked a widespread criticism.
After his TV appearance, Emdee Tiamiyu was accused of defrauding the UK government of £160,000. It was alleged that Tiamiyu used funds meant for relocation to construct a house in his hometown of Ogun, Nigeria.

In another news, a Nigerian student studying in U.S was reportedly arrested for impregnating four female officers.
Ezebuike, hailing from Anambra State, enrolled in a women’s security course at a prestigious institution in New Jersey, where it’s reported he developed relationships with the women.
According to reports, the young man adeptly managed to smoothly engage the female police officers in romantic relationships, successfully keeping it under wraps until one of the women, impregnated by Ezebuike, uncovered the truth.
The police officer decided to investigate further and discovered that he had been involved with three other women in the police force.
Reporting the situation to the authorities, she triggered Ezebuike’s arrest. Facing potential arraignment in court, he could be deported to Nigeria if found guilty.
Ezebuike’s alleged behavior is deemed unethical and a violation of international study regulations. If the court rules against him, he risks losing his academic opportunity and being repatriated.
