A prominent Abuja-based pastor and General Overseer of Jesus Divine Solution and Deliverance Outreach, Pastor Kelvin Okafor, has been embroiled in a scandal involving his marital life.
Allegations suggest that he abandoned his wife of 17 years, Mrs. Chidiebere Okafor, and their four children to enter into a secret marriage with the church’s women’s leader, Mrs. Chinenye Jessica Nwaneri.
According to reports, the traditional marriage ceremony took place on Saturday, June 22, at a hotel in Owerri, Imo State.
The discreet nature of the event, with guests instructed not to take photos or videos, has raised eyebrows.
However, an undercover reporter was able to witness the ceremony, bringing the story to light.
Sources close to the matter indicate that Mrs. Chidiebere Okafor is unaware of her husband’s new marriage, as he remains legally married to her.
Moreover, Pastor Okafor’s new wife, an Ordained Elder in the church, is fully aware of his existing marriage.

In a now-viral video, Chioma the wife of the pastor recounted how Ogbonna enlisted police officers to forcibly evict them.
She also accused the clergyman of rampant infidelity and expressed her heartbreak over his intentions to “disgrace” her after “laboring with him for 19 years.”
“See him, God will help me. This is a pastor. Look at him. This is the pastor, Stanley Ogbonna. He called the police and evicted me and the children out of the house. Look at me, look at my properties all outside unannounced,” she said.
“We were in the house this afternoon, he just came to the house with the police and threw my things away. He already packed his things out of the house for years, sleeping around. Today, he has come to disgrace me after labouring with him for 19 years…”
