In another news, Ibadan pastor finally speaks on congregants deaths rumored to be caused by ipese they ate at his church.

A Celestial church located in Apata, Ido LGA, Ibadan is at the center of a devastating storm, thrust into the headlines after the shocking deaths of few members.

At least five individuals reportedly died after participating in a ‘Love Feast’—a cherished event affectionately known as “Ipese—following the church service on September 22.

This tragic incident has ignited a wildfire of speculation, with many in the community pointing fingers at the festive meal as the grim catalyst behind these untimely deaths.

In an urgent response to the frenzy of rumors and accusations, the church leader has bravely stepped forward to confront the situation head-on.

He emphatically dismissed the claims that the deaths were a direct result of the feast, asserting that while congregants did partake in the meal, none succumbed within the church’s walls. His declaration aimed to restore faith among the churchgoers and quell the rising tide of panic that has gripped the congregation and the surrounding community.
