Instagram gossip blogger, Cutie Julls recently shared more updates on Nollywood actress Angela Okorie’s house eviction saga over unpaid rent spanning from over 2 years.
According to the blogger, Angela’s ex-husband had been paying her rent for years, primarily for the sake of their son.
However, after a serious incident in which Angela allegedly caused the death of two people while driving under the influence of substances, her ex-husband stepped in to prevent her from going to jail. He reportedly spent a significant amount of money settling with the victims’ families and handling other legal matters.
The ex-husband, concerned about Angela’s lifestyle, advised her to reduce her substance use, but Angela allegedly refused to change her behaviour.
In retaliation, she threatened to deny him access to their son if he stopped paying her rent. Despite this, the ex-husband stopped covering her rent, explaining that he had already spent a large amount of money and needed time to recover financially.
Angela’s failure to pay rent led to tension with her landlord, who ultimately secured a court order to evict her. Despite being served with numerous eviction notices and given opportunities to vacate the property peacefully, Angela reportedly ignored the warnings. As a result, her belongings were removed from the property with the involvement of the authorities today, October 11th.

“So long story short, Angela’s ex husband has been the one paying her rent all these years because of their son.
But recently as madam accidentally k**i 2 people while driving on highness, the ex husband had to come in to help. He paid a whole lot so that legit Queen will not go to jail. He advised Legit Queen to cut down on highness but her royal highness no gree leave highness. #
She even yab the man join. As usual, she told the man he will never see their son if he stops paying the rent. The man stopped as he said he paid out a lot settling families of the 2 people wey Angela k**i and settling other places too so it cost a whole lot. So he doesn’t have money now so Angela should work and pay while he works to recover the money he used in helping Angela not to go to prison.
Angela yab am, yab all his families join. Even when Angela yabs her landlord over unpaid rent since her ex stopped paying, if the ex calls, she will still yab the ex.
Hmm sadly the landlord got court order to evict her some weeks ago. Angela was sent copies of the eviction notice and the landlord gave her so many chances to park out nicely but still Angela refused to park out until the landlord had to go in today with the right authorities to park her belongings out of his property.
