  • As reports of her death spread across social media, a wave of grief has engulfed those who have followed the Oromonis’ story—each heartbreaking chapter etched in their minds.

Three years after the devastating loss of her youngest son, Sylvester Oromoni Jr., the heartbroken mother of the late Dowen College student has tragically passed away following a prolonged and harrowing battle with illness.

Since 2021, Mrs. Oromoni has been engulfed in unrelenting grief, following the tragic death of her 12-year-old son, who became the face of a widely publicized case surrounding shocking allegations of mistreatment at his school. This heart-wrenching loss, coupled with the unanswered questions and the ongoing fight for justice, took a devastating toll on her physical and emotional health.

A close family source revealed that over time, the weight of this anguish consumed her, with the emotional scars of losing her son gradually manifesting in her deteriorating health.

Despite receiving medical care and the unwavering support of family and friends, the emotional burden, according to reports, proved too overwhelming, and her body, worn down by grief, could no longer fight. On November 25, 2024, she tragically passed away.
