Fresh claims have emerged about Nollywood star Annie Idibia’s alleged struggle with substance abuse, painting a troubling picture of her deteriorating health in the wake of her reported marriage crash with music icon 2Face Idibia.
Controversial blogger Gistlover spilled details from close sources, revealed that Annie’s condition has worsened to the point where her family is now considering flying her to India for urgent medical care.
According to the gossip blog, the actress allegedly sustained a severe leg injury due to excessive drug use, with Nigerian doctors reportedly suggesting a drastic measure—amputation. However, her family is desperately seeking alternative treatments abroad to save her limb.
Gistlover revealed that despite Annie’s worsening health, she remains fixated on 2Baba, repeatedly asking about him in her vulnerable state.
The blog said, in a bid to shield her from further emotional turmoil, her family confiscated her phones, cut off any access to online drama surrounding her estranged husband.
Gistlover wrote;
“The Idibias Needs Prayers, Husband and Wife currently battling their respective issues!!! Prayers up for Annie as her condition deteriorate amidst divorce saga and health issue, the family are planning on flying her to India..
“Her leg injury dey decay, the Dr dey suggest amputation but hoping there could be a solution in India. She’s been nursing the injury since last year, but because of the damage the drug did to her body,the injury refused to heal, then it got this worse.
“Close source said they have collected all her phone and made sure she doesn’t get to see all that is going on, she’s been asking to see her husband but the husband himself is missing. Where do we go from here??? This story is a big LESSON…..”
