Two final year students of University of Calabar have been abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
It was gathered that a 500L Radiography student, John Edet Ubi and another final year female student of Marketing Department simply identified as Joy, were kidnapped around Etta-Agbor area of Calabar, Cross River State.
According to CrossRiverWatch, a naval female rating escaped abduction. Her bag containing her ID card and other valuables were taken away by the kidnappers.
A Facebook user, David Ogam, who confirmed the abduction on Sunday, October 10, said that Ubi was last seen around 8pm last Thursday.
