Davido won the “Best International Act” at the awards ceremony which held on Monday, June 25th, 2018 at the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California, United States. The award made the singer the first artiste based in Africa to climb the BET main stage to receive the “Best International Act” Award.
Davido’s success continues to elicit reactions from popular figures like South African Rapper, Cassper Nyovest who referred to him as ‘legend.’ Davido’s label mates decided to celebrate the singer by putting together a surprise show to welcome him back to Nigeria.
