Bimbo Oshin is a Nigerian actress, film-maker, director and producer who shot to limelight after her role in the movie ‘Akobi’.

The actress turns 47 today July 24, 2018, is her birthday. To celebrate her on this milestone we are sharing notable facts about her.

1. Early Life
Bimbola Oshin-Ibironke was born on the 24th of July 1971 in Ondo town, Ondo State, into a family of eight as the second to the last child of the family. She attended the University of Lagos where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy.

2. Career
Bimbo commenced her acting career in 1996 but rose to prominence after starring in a 2012 Yoruba film titled Omo Elemosho.

 

3. Relationships


She is currently married to Ola Ibironke, Dudu Heritage’s boss and their union is blessed with 2 children.

4. Controversies
In 2014, Bimbo Oshin was said to have been evicted from her house in Dolphin Estate, Lagos Island which allegedly led to her relocating to Ibadan to join her husband.

5. Endorsement

In 2015, the pretty actress bagged a Lux campaign deal with Unilever alongside some of her colleagues.

Awards And Nominations
She was nominated in the YMAA Best Actress in a Lead Role in 2014. She was also nominated at the Afro-Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment and Awards (AHBEA) in 2016.
