One of these celebrities who have taken the liberty to go all out for October 1’s Independence Day celebration is BBNaija’s Khloe. In commemorating the birthday of Nigeria, she has joined a group of Nigerian students in Cotonou on a ‘green walk’.
The beautiful fashion diva was spotted wearing a white and green polo shirt on a black tight. In explaining the reason for wearing such uniform, Khloe explained that she was celebrating the country with other Nigerian students living in Cotonou.
These students living off the shores of Nigeria deemed it necessary to honour their home country on its illustrious day irrespective of their location. Hence, they organised a festive green walk around Cotonou meant to create awareness about October 1 as well as show their solidarity to the giant of Africa.

According to Khloe, she had been in her hotel room when she heard them the celebration already going agog. Seeing the fierce way in which these students celebrated their country even on foreign soil, the former housemate of BBNaija 2018 decided to join them.
Upon joining them, she made the walk more lively, danced freely to the music blaring from the stereo and toured Cotonou with so much enthusiasm. The young entrepreneur made this known in a caption she wrote while sharing the beautiful memories of the event organised by these students:
“Guess who joined the Nigeria student in Cotonou for their Nigeria Independent walk dis morning . I was just hearing noise in my hotel room and saw amazing youths repping Naija, so I joined them . So much fun . Hbd Nigeria.”

The students who all put on colourful green and white attires (including the tracksuit informed by the Super Eagles’ FIFA 2018 adventure) seemed to be having so much fun while representing their country in Cotonou.
