Corpse Of APC Chieftain Found In Forest After Being Kidnapped In Rivers

The APC Chieftain who is said to be the secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, was kidnapped last week Sunday November,11th, 2018, while on his way back to Port-Harcourt after honoring the invitation of the Anglican Church in their community, Apani, Ikwerre LGA alongside Hon. Samuel Wanjoku, and Moses Ogu, a party Chieftain who was honored by the church.

The bullet-ridden decomposing corpse of Hon. Samuel Wanjoku who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen along the Omuanwa-Ubima axis of the express way, was discovered in a forest between Omuanwa and Ubima in the local government area this morning.

While the whereabouts of Hon. Moses Ogu remains unknown, it was gathered that the APC in Ikwerre has asked supporters to remain calm as they further called on the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the Commissioner of Police, Rivers State, CP Zaki Ahmed to urgently constitute a Fact-finding Panel to investigate and unravel the circumstances under which the APC members where abducted and murdered.
