For the family of Odo Simon and Ngozika Onah of Umudia Umuadogwa, Enugu-Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu State, life is indeed full of surprises.
One of their beloved family members, Marstelus Ogbonna has gone missing without any trace for over one year now.
The 26-year-old Marstelus who has gone to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT since September 2024 for greener pasture has not seen, heard from even as his whereabouts can not be ascertained.
Narrating their ordeals, his victim’s twin sister Nnedinso Ogbonna told WITHIN NIGERIA that ” Odo Ogbonna Marstelus was born in Kaduna State and grew up in the Republic of Benin.
“He learned business in Asaba before traveling to Abuja in September 2024 to start his own business. Since then, his whereabouts have been unknown.”
Narrating further Nnedinso told our reporter that “since then, we have not had rest of mind. We have not peace of mind. He is my twin brother and I personally have not found it easy.”
Asked if the family has reported the incident to the police, Miss Ogbonna stated that ” we have reported it to the police. We have been in total confusion. We don’t even know which police station to report it to. We don’t know whether to report it to Abuja police station or Enugu police command.”
On whether there is foul play in his sudden missing, Nnedinso explained that ” for now, don’t suspect any foul play. We have no any reason to do that. Since he left for Abuja, his phone numbers have not been going. It has been noticed that they have been switched off.”
Appealing to the general public, Nnedinso said that “we are appealing to the general public to help us trace the whereabouts of our brother Marstelus who has gone missing since September 2024. Anybody with useful information that can lead to his whereabouts should report to the nearest police station or call us on 07059871884 or 09066512077.
