A 35-year old driver in Buea, South West region of Cameroon is presently behind bars after he was arrested for reportedly kidnapping three pupils in the early hours of Friday November before later killing two of them.
The driver is said to be the regular transporters of the kids to and from school but reportedly kidnapped them on Friday requesting the sum of three million Francs CFA as ransom.
Two of the children would later die in his custody while a third is currently battling for his life as the man was apprehended at the Bomaka neighbourhood in the outskirts of Buea.

The mother told him she didn’t have such amount and pleaded for the return of her kids. But the angry driver stabbed them all, killing the two boys and leaving the girl in critical condition.
The girl who is the elder of the three siblings is in the Intensive Care Unit of an undisclosed hospital.
