In the Nigerian setting, a wedding ceremony is one festive period where smiles are usually expected to colour the faces of as many people as have come to celebrate the occasion. But even more, the bride whose hand is being given away to a man she so desires is expected to have the brightest smile of all.

In this light, it is quite unusual when a bride’s face is without a smile on the very day her joy is meant to overflow. For many Nigerians, any glint of sadness on the bride’s face is taken as a sign of something very unpleasant.

On this note, a Nigerian bride has been spotted as one of the few, unusual lots, who do not smile or appear gleeful during their own wedding ceremony.

The said lady who has been deemed very pretty and attractive was particularly gloomy throughout the rites in which she was married to her spouse.

Many have dug into the couple’s life to presume just why the lady chose to be sad on her wedding day. This had led many to scouring the husband’s Twitter page.

From what could be seen, the husband whose name on Twitter is Salisu Whiteman had earlier posted a picture of his beautiful fiancee before he wedded her. The lady who was draped in a Niqab appeared to be very shy and courtly.

Due to the strong, reticent ambiance she showed in the image, many are assuming that the lady is simply shy and reserved. Nonetheless, her sadness and seeming unhappy look has proven to be the rarest of its kind.
