Moments ago in Amukoko, c, a little ruffle occurred after some thugs stormed a polling unit to disrupt the peaceful ongoing presidential and national assembly elections.

According to Emmanuella Okoye who reported the incident, hoodlums stormed the polling unit in with bikes and tricycles (Keke Napep) while carrying metals, sticks and other weapons.

The hoodlums chased people out of the polling unit and destroyed ballot boxes and other election materials.

“These was the Polling Unit before hoodlums came and Violently destroyed the Electoral Process. (See the video in my last post). Happening in Amukoko! Ajeronmi Ifelodun Local Government. Lagos State. Citizens(Electorates) ran for their dear lives. I ran too. Almost all the Polling Units in that area were affected. I am just angry that Elections can’t be peaceful in this Country. Why the disruption? People shoud be allowed to exercise their franchise without threats. This is totally condemnable. I hate that this is happening.?? It’s a shame.”
