Pop star Ariana Grande is now the most followed woman on Instagram, taking the crown from fellow pop star, Selena Gomez.
As of February 26, Grande, 25, had 146.3 million followers while fellow pop star Gomez, 26, had 146.2 million. But the most followed person on Instagram still remains superstar footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, 34, who has 155.9 million followers and still counting.
Ariana gained an extra 13 million followers in the last 4 months alone!
Grande is likely to close the gap to Ronaldo by drawing more followers from Britain following news that she would be a headliner at a concert in Manchester in August.
Previously, Gomez replaced Taylor Swift as the most popular Instagram user with more than 103 million followers back in December 2016.

Here in Nigeria, Davido is the most followed celebrity on Instagram, as of February 27, he has 9.7 million followers on the popular image sharing platform.
