Dan Yomi, the first black Student Union President of Bournemouth University, UK, shocked the world last year when he came out as gay . Now, he’s taken his relationship a step further by moving in with his partner.

Dan, who comes from a very staunch Christian family, moved his parents to tears when he came out of the closet. He also shocked his former schoolmates because he was a fellowship leader while schooling in Nigeria.

But Bisi Alimi gave him his support and congratulated him for his courage. He took to Twitter hours ago to show off his new house and his lover, writing:

“Growing up as a gay man in Nigeria, I never saw myself living openly with a Male partner for obvious reasons. But today, me & my bf moved into our flat & words can’t explain how this makes me feel.

“Can’t wait to build a life that I deserve with d man of my dreams?

“#BlackLove.”
