Fans of Nigerian Singers, Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile who initially found it difficult to believe their initial arrest are also made to believe that they have been released.

Popular singer, Burna Boy has confirmed their continued detention after the singer called on the EFCC to free Zanku crooner, Zlatan Ibile for him to be able to perform at his show which was held last night.

Taking to his page, Burna who’s a big fan of Zlatan wrote;

“You see am now? No Zanku for my show Today. My Day is ruined. @officialefcc Na beg I dey beg una. PLEASE FREE da guys.”

EFCC earlier confirmed the Singers continued detention and promise to tell the public if they are released. The EFCC’s acting Head, Media and Publicity, Tony Orilade, in an interview said:

“They are still with us as we are talking.”

Asked if the singers would spend the weekend in custody, he said:

They are still with us. When they are released, I will let you know.
