Zlatan Ibile while expressing his loyalty and friendship to Naira Marley, took to his social media page to share a video of the singer on stage performing and captioned it:

Zlatan was arrested same day as Naira Marley but was let go on bail but evidences against Naira Marley were overwhelming, leading to him being charged to court.
Naira Marley was arraigned in court before Justice Nicholas I. Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos. He pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him, Justice Oweibo adjourned the case to May 30, 2019, and ordered the defendant to be remanded in prison custody pending the hearing of the bail application.
