PHOTOS: Investigative panel visits scene where police officers were killed by soldiers in Taraba

Nigeria Police Force has sent a police investigative panel to visit Ibi-Wukari road in Taraba State, the location of the ugly incident that claimed lives of three policemen who were sent to arrest one Alhaji Hamisu linked to series of high-profile kidnap incidents were shot dead by soldiers.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that the Nigeria Army linked the misfire that led to the death of three policemen as a matter of misidentity as troops of the 93 Battalion Takum thought they were kidnappers.

DCP Abba Kari, the head of the Police Investigative Panel and other members of the panel were seen at the scene of the incident to look into the matter.
