Victor Osimhen grabbed a brace on his debut for Lille who defeated Nantes 2-1 in their French Ligue 1 clash at Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Sunday.
Osimhen opened scoring for the home team in the 19th minute, cooly slamming the ball home following a pass from Jose Conte.
Lille were pegged back five minutes after the break with Mehmet Celki conceding an own goal.
Osimhen netted the winning goal 10 minutes from time with a near post finish.
The Nigeria international was involved from start to finish in the game.
Lille will face Amiens in their next French Ligue 1 fixture on Saturday.
