Few days after the killing of Chairman of Zaki-Biam Yam Market at his residence, unknown gunmen have killed a man identified as Tavershima Dega in Benue state.
The deceased who was killed on Thursday at his residence in Zaki-Biam town of Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.
Newsmen learnt that Tavershima was shot dead at 8:00pm when he went to a pharmacy store to buy drugs for his ill wife.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the state command, DSP Catherine Anene, said she could not immediately confirm the killing of Dega because she was yet to receive any briefing on the matter.
