Three final year Law students of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria have been kidnapped on Abuja-Kaduna expressway. The armed criminals also murdered three persons and abducted dozens of people during the operation yesterday.
Jibrin Adamu, a commercial driver who narrowly escaped the attack, stated that the gunmen blocked a spot around Olam farm around 5:30 PM.
They later left the scene of the operation area after about 30 minutes, when a team of the military chased them away.
Recall that a few days ago, a pregnant woman was also kidnapped in Sokoto.
The victim who is said to be the wife of a politician was abducted at her home while sleeping around 2.am. They beat her husband before speeding her away in the northern part of the country.
The spokesman of the state police command, ASP Sadiq Abubakar, stated police officers at Dange Shuni Division, got a disappointment call that seven armed men at about 2:00 am, stormed Katura village and abducted a pregnant woman
As I’m talking with you now, policemen are on the trail of the kidnappers in order to rescue the woman. As a matter of fact, all bushes around the area have been combed by the police and investigation has commenced into the matter.
