A supporter of the former Governor of Edo state and National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has uploaded a video that depicts what truly transpired at the residence of Adams Oshiomhole and described it as a clash of supporters.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that there was tension in Edo state as suspected thugs attacked convoy of Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki, Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu and Chairman, Caverton Offshore Support Group, Mr. Aderemi Makanjuola.
The supporter identified as Gloria Adeagbo accused the Edo State Government of importing thugs from Benin to Iyahmo. The event in Iyahmo was an academic one, not political. After the incident, the thugs moved down to the residence of the National Chairman of the party and were chanting four plus four, she alleged.
Why import thugs to a non political event? Why import thugs in the first place? Why import thugs from Benin to the Convocation venue? Worst still why carry the thugs to the National Chairman’s house and expect his own people not to react?; Oshiomhole asked.
She described the incident as a clash of supporters as the supporters of the National Chairman of the party refuted the test of political strength as they moved thugs to the compound of their leader.
Pursuing second term bid is okay but don’t go about it the wrong way. WIN THE SUPPORT and TRUST REQUIRED. It mustn’t be turned into a DO or DIE affair. You can be governor today and when you tenure is finished; she said.
