A Nigerian newly wedded couple broke away from social norm after they tied the knot in a most unusual way in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria
The cute couple who got married at Seventh-day Adventist Church, Ruuokwurusi, Port Harcourt, shocked everyone after they did their church wedding with no reception, bridal train, groomsmen, best man and chief bridesmaid.
Receiving a commendation from the church, a photo of the couple was shared on the church’s social media page, with the caption:
“An interesting wedding today at Seventh-day Adventist Church, Ruuokwurusi.
At the end, all were given their food packs and dispersed from the church to their homes.
There are lots of lessons to be learnt from this. A lot of savings made. A very wise, realistic and practical wedding today.
Food for thought for those who are planning their weddings ahead.”
