A Nigerian man, identified as Engr Great-Emma has taken to social media to lament after rats ate up his savings in Bariga, Lagos state.
According to Great-Emma, Bariga rats stole his joy by eating the money he has been saving for months.The Engineer said he has been saving the money for the Christmas festivities only for his hopes to be dashed.
“After all the Xmas savings, Bariga rat has shown me pepper.” Engr Great-Emma wrote on Facebook as he shared photos of the 1,000 Naira notes destroyed by rats.
