Nigerian singer, Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel popularly known as Dammy Krane has advised DJs in Ghana to play more of Ghanaian songs than Nigerian songs.
Recall ODG sometime last year had made same statement, advising GH Disc jockeys to play more of their underground songs instead of promoting their Naija counterparts.
It is quite surprising that a Nigerian will have to come and encourage GH djs against Naija songs.
Dammy Krane made this known via his social media page, the Naija singer was stunned how Naija songs enjoy massive airplay in Ghana at the expense of songs composed by musicians in the country.
Dammy Krane wrote:
“Naija music is being played more than Ghana music in Ghana 🇬🇭, This must stop in 2020, the only Naija songs that should have such rotations are songs that features a Ghanaian. Every must balance well in 2020.”
