American up and coming rapper, Pop Smoke is dead, TMZ has confirmed. The rapper was shot and killed this morning, 19th of February in what looks like a home invasion robbery.
According to reports, the sad incident happened at around 4:30 am in his home in Hollywood hills.
Two unknown men in hoodies and masks broke in and shot at the rapper multiple times. He was seriously injured and was rushed by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead. The suspects are still at large and it’s not clear at the moment if the rapper knew them or not.
The Brooklyn-born hip-hop artist, whose real name was Bashar Barakah Jackson was just 20-year-old.
Many have reacted to this sad occurrence including Nicki Minaj who wrote a cryptic message about how there may be a connection between the killers and the late rapper.
