President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, met with the Nasarawa Governor, Abdullahi Sule, at the State House, Abuja.

The meeting which held shortly before the week’s Federal Execute Council (FEC) meeting is coming a day after former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, was banished to Nasarawa State by the Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

As at the time of filing this report, details of the meeting could not be ascertained but there are speculations that it may not be unconnected to Sanusi’s banishment.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje-led government on Monday dethroned Sanusi as Emir of Kano for being disrespectful to lawful authorities.

Meanwhile, former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Wednesday alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the removal of Muhammadu Sanusi as Emir of Kano.

Kwankwaso who appointed Sanusi as the 14th Emir of Kano in 2014 maintained that contrary to claims, Buhari was actually involved in the Kano emirate crisis.
