Hours after the chief of staff to the President, Abba Kyari tested positive for Coronavirus, President Muhammadu Buhari’s media aide has confirmed that his principal tested negative for coronavirus.
This disclosure was made by Femi Adesina while speaking with newsmen at the state house in Abuja today, March 25th.
In his words;
”That calls for rejoicing with him. Anybody that does the test and tests negative we rejoice with that person and anybody that does it and tests positive, it’s not a death sentence. We also would pray along with the person, give the person our goodwill and best wishes and they will surely come out of it.”
He also denied reports that some media houses have been banned from covering activities within the state house.
The confirmation came after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also tested negative for the virus after going into self-isolation.
