Coronavirus: Actor Desmond Elliot blasted over his ‘makeshift cleansing’ project

After posting photos to show the way he is contributing his own quota to the fight against COVID-19, Nollywood actor turned politician, Desmond Elliot has been severely blasted.

The actor was slammed after he constructed a ‘makeshift cleansing’ project in Surulere, the constituency he represents in Lagos State House of Assembly.

Recall that Desmond Elliot shared photos of some Lagosians using his “makeshift cleansing mechanism” on Instagram, disclosing that they are sited at “Olodeokuta, Ojuelegba, Love Garden, Hugan Bassey, Masha bus stop, Shirts bus stop, Adelabu, Iponri, Bode Thomas and Ishaga Road”.

However, some social media users who reacted to photos of the project the lawmaker proudly showed off, described it as an “embarassment”.
