Pictures of deserted Daura town have surfaced on internet barely 12 hours after the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello imposed a total lockdown on Friday in Daura Local Government Area and it is expected to commence on Saturday, April 11 from 7am.
The lockdown was imposed by the Governor after wife and two children of Doctor who died of Covid-19 in Katsina test postive.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that no fewer than three people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Daura, Katsina state.
This disclosure was made known by the state Governor Aminu Masari today, April 10th.
