Cool FM OAP, Kaylah Oniwo has slammed a follower who congratulated after she mistook her protruding tummy for a “baby bump”.
The media personality who later disclosed her struggles with fibroid reacted after she shared a photo of herself in a pool in Dubai and the follower commented: “I see baby bump… Congrats.”
Kaylah did not appreciate the comment and she schooled the follower. She told her that it is wrong “to make comments about anybody’s body when you have absolutely no clue about what is going on in there.”
Kaylah added: “FYI, I have fibroid and it’s not an easy journey, so next time you see something, please keep your comments to yourself.”
The follower later apologized, adding that her words weren’t meant to hurt but were aimed at sending positive vibes because she thought the OAP was expecting a child.
Another Nigerian celebrity that has suffered from fibroid is renown fashion stylist and entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani, who is known for sharing nude photos on IG .
She once talked about her battle with fibroid which has lasted for 13 years.
The proud mother of two disclosed that many Nigerian celebrities are going through a lot in their private lives while some don’t even know they have the ailment since they hardly go for medical tests and check-ups.
