The total number of managed and discharged cases in Lagos is now 199.

Similarly, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has said it is currently “struggling” for bed spaces for the treatment of COVID-19 patients in Lagos State, which has the highest number of persons infected by coronavirus in Nigeria.

Chikwe Ihekweazu, Director-General of Centre, said this at the briefing of the presidential task force on COVID-19 on Thursday.

He said efforts were being made to change strategy so the inadequate bed spaces does not affect the fight against coronavirus.
