Following the ease of lockdown by president Muhammadu Buhari, Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has taken to her Instagram page to react to the trending videos and pictures of Lagosians storming banks and BRT terminals and totally ignoring the practice of social distancing.

According to the mother of two, it is sad that people are stupid enough not to put preventive measures in place. She added that she is surprised at the videos of the crowded places making waves on the internet.

She said ” Nigerians need to hear this!!!! …….why are people so stupid???? 🙄God the videos I have been seeing online of people sandwiched , not adhering to guidelines and taking proper measures is just sad “.

Recall that few days ago, the Lagos State Government issued new guidelines for the transportation operations within the state for the next two weeks. The Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, said the new guidelines were proactive measures put in place by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to curtail a possible spread of the deadly virus among the commuting public through transportation activities when gradual ease of the lockdown commences.
