Multiple award winning singer, Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, simply known as Adele, has made a surprise 2020 debut appearance on social media since the year begun.
On Wednesday, the “Hello” singer shared her first Instagram post of 2020 to celebrate turning 32.
The photo featured Adele standing in front of a giant floral arch outside her LA home wearing a black mini dress with puffball sleeves and matching pointed heels.
In the caption, the “Someone Like You” singer thanked fans for their birthday wishes and also acknowledged those working on the frontline during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time,” she wrote.
“I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels. 2020 okay bye thanks x.”

The post, which has since garnered more than 1m likes, was quickly flooded with comments from celebrity friends and followers who wished the star a happy birthday.
