‘I am lucky because i married the best husband’ – Alaafin of Oyo’s Olori Memunat reveals on her birthday

Olori Memunat Omowumi, one of the wives of the Alaafin of Oyo, is celebrating her birthday today, 11th of May. The happy mum of three children ( twin girls and a boy)  has revealed on her Instagram page that she is very lucky because she married the best husband in the world.

Memunat who is often tagged as the most humble Queen of the Alaafin of Oyo, shared photos of herself with an insight into how blessed she is to be married to the King despite their imperfect marriage. She wrote ;

“+1 Today Allahumdulillah! For everything even the trials that makes me closer to You, oh Allah I just want to thank you for making me feel like the luckiest woman in the world every single day. I married the best husband in the world. Grateful to the highly respected, revered, cerebral king and head of Yorubaland. My husband, His imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Lamidi Olayiwola Atanda Adeyemi III IKU BABA YEYE. ALAAFIN OF OYO. JP CFR LLD SAP. A great mentor,inspirer, motivator, educator, Orator etc. He gave me quality education. He inspires me to face the life Challenges with equanimity.

Thank you for your inspiration and guidance long may you reign on the throne of your ancestors. My lovely children Prince Abdullahi Olayiwola Atanda Adeyemi Junior, the twins Princess Taiwo Iradat Adetoun Ibidunni Apeke and Princess Kehinde Hamidat Adedayo Ibironke Akanke (Iya Oba -King Mother) thank God that He made it happen. I know I’m far from perfect, but thank you for staying with me and remaining strong amidst the challenges. We don’t have a perfect marriage, but we do our best to make it a good and happy one.

You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I look forward to spending many more happy years with you.(Masha Allah) Today is my birthday, and I’m ready for new adventures of this new year of life. I want to wish myself to spend this year in beautiful places with my beloved people. I wish myself never to miss bright moments of life, and never lose the days in sadness. I wish myself peace, smiles, and excellent mood.
