Following the declaration of the post of the Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by the National Working Committee of the party, former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Worgu Boms has been chosen by the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State to fill the vacant post of the Deputy National Secretary of the party.

The former attorney general, Worgu will be replacing Hon. Victor Giadom, who had resigned from the position in 2018 to be running mate to Tonye Cole, Rivers governorship aspirant in the 2019 election.

Recall that Victor Giadom has declared himself the National Chairman of the party after securing a court order to that effect.

The announcement of Worgu replacing Giadom at the National Secretariat of the party was made by National Vice Chairman South South, Hon. Hillard Eta in Abuja on Saturday June 20.
