Nigeria records 252 new cases of COVID-19, total hits 52, 800

As Nigeria continues its fight against Coronavirus, 252 new cases of the deadly virus were recorded on Tuesday night, making the confirmed COVID-19 cases to be 52,800.

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official Twitter handle.

NCDC revealed that 39,964 patients have now been discharged with 1007 patients losing their lives to the Coronavirus.

NCDC further revealed that Plateau State had the highest number of infections on Tuesday with 50 cases, with Enugu State following with 35 cases, and Rivers State with 27 cases.
